Phased Reopening Equipment Reservations

Phase 1 - Only Cardio equipment in HSC Rec may be reserved and will be staggered to prevent pieces directly behind or facing another piece

  • Locker room use permitted only for restrooms and limited capacity (four people in each locker room) in changing areas to start. Showers not available for use
  • No equipment checkout permitted; patrons will be allowed to bring their own equipment and keep their belongings with them on the floor

Phase 2, Beginning Monday, October 5th - Weight room will open be split into two spaces with limited capacity and hours (weight room hours will be listed below). Space 1: Cable crossover and bench presses. Space 2: Selectorized machines. 

  • One guest is permitted per space in the weight room at a time. Guests must check which machines they wish to use and use only those machines in their reservation space. Guests may select two sets of dumbbells for use during their reservation or they may bring their own equipment to use in the weight room
    • Guests are asked to collected the attached nameplates on the machines they use and hand them to staff at the end of their reservation to assist staff in cleaning the space

Weight Room Hours - These hours are subject to change through the semester. The most up to date times will be listed below.

Monday- 7am - 11am & 2pm - 6pm

Wednesday- 8am - 1pm & 3pm - 6pm

Thursday- 1pm - 6pm

Friday- 9am - 11am & 3pm - 6pm

Reservation Policies - *Please read all of our policies before making a reservation!*

  • Guests may reserve equipment for 40 minute intervals. This will allow for one piece of equipment per day, per person
  • 20 minutes each hour will be allotted to cleaning by staff
  • Amount of equipment that is available to be reserved will be dependent on phase and equipment
    • Equipment will be staggered to prevent pieces directly behind or facing another piece in operation
  • Guests may reserve equipment up to one hour before a piece is available
    • Equipment is available for reservation up to 3 days ahead of its timeslot
  • Guests who need to cancel or know that they are unable to attend their reservation must sign on and cancel or email the Rec Coordinator at least 1 hour before their reservation
    • If you miss 3 reservations within a month without cancellation or informing the Rec Coordinator, reservation priveleges may be suspended for 1 week
  • Hospital Employees will need to create a "Local Account" after logging in below to reserve equipment
    • Please be sure to confirm your email in order to reserve equipment
